David's 1st Birthday Party

David is actually 13 months now. Wow I can't believe he is growing up so fast. We had a party for him on June 21st. (Although it was originally scheduled for June 14, but all 4 of the kids we invited were sick that week so we postponed it.)

I know the party was more for us, but David seemed to enjoy having his friends Cameron, Michael, and Caleb there.

Here is his cake for those of you who were not able to see it. ( I can't figure out how to rotate images, so for now it will be sideways.)


He enjoyed his cake, but didn't really make as much of a mess as we expected him to. The cake mostly stayed on his hands and bib, but he did eat some too.

David got a new pool, which all the kids seemed to love even without water.

He also got some new toys and tub toys and a red wagon which he helped Lanny put together. Here is David with his friend Michael riding in the wagon.

David really seemed to enjoy his first birthday party and we look forward to many more (hopefully not too soon, though.)
